Electric cars have seen tremendous growth in recent years, and we can partly thank the Chevrolet Bolt for the growth of the electrified vehicle segment. The Chevrolet electric car now offers more range than the Nissan LEAF and LEAF Plus, the Hyundai Kona EV, the Kia Soul EV and some versions of the Tesla Model 3, all for less than $45,000.

The Bolt therefore gets the full government discounts of up to $13,000 and still offers more range than its direct competition. It's also fun to drive with 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque under the hood.
